K3 and Below

3rd Twin Rook Chess online chess tournament was conducted on 5th June 2021. Kids less than 9 years participated in the K3 and below section and demonstrated early brilliance and exemplary chess skills.

Keshav Ambil, Aadith Pradeep and Akshay Anand took 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. They will receive cash prize and trophies.
​
Anvay Mishra, Akshath Naresh and Saatvik Anand took 4th, 5th and 6th place will receive 4th place trophies.
K4 and Above

3rd Twin Rook Chess online chess tournament was conducted on 5th June 2021. Players who are at grade level 4 and above participated in this section. 5 rounds were played with intense competition.

Akshat Anshul, Ananya Srivatsan and Thenral Raj took 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. They will receive cash prize and trophies. Nathan Raman, Nandan Raman and Rahul Esaimani took 4th, 5th and 6th place, and will receive 4th place trophies.
​
Players on other positions will receive participation trophies.

New Summer Programs

Summer program is now scheduled as suggested by many of our club members. We are setting up both options: morning (10 to 1pm CT) and evening (7 to 8:30pm CT). Students may choose to enroll any one of these options. Program will be for 8 weeks starting 31-May-21. Sibling discounts will be applicable for summer program too. Regular classes will continue as per the current schedule. Summer camp is in addition to the regular class. We will revisit the course content for students who are enrolled in both to avoid any repetitions. Students enrolling for summer camp and regular camp will receive additional discounts.
Twin Rook chess is now affiliated to USCF.

First “Twin Rook USCF rated scholastic online tournament“ is planned for 5th June 2021. This will be a paid tournament and includes cash prizes and trophies. Twin Rook chess members will receive additional discounts on tournament fee. Please click here more information.

Twin Rook tournament is open to anyone (non-members) without any geographical barriers. Please pass on the word .
Going forward we are planning to run USCF rated paid tournaments twice a month during summer and once a month otherwise.
